Make a Windows/Linux or another iso file to a Bootable USB
- Download Rufus: First, download Rufus from the official website. Make sure to download the appropriate version for your operating system.
- Insert USB Drive: Insert the USB drive that you want to make bootable into your computer. Please note that Rufus will erase all data on the USB drive, so ensure that you have backed up any important files.
- Launch Rufus: Open the Rufus application that you downloaded.
- Select USB Drive: In the Rufus window, under the "Device" section, you should see a drop-down menu with a list of available USB drives. Select the USB drive you inserted.
- Select Bootable ISO Image: In the "Boot selection" section, click on the "Select" button and locate the ISO image file for the operating system or software you want to create a bootable USB for. Select the ISO file and click "Open".
- Configure Settings: Rufus provides various options for configuring the bootable USB. You can choose the partition scheme, file system, cluster size, and other settings. In most cases, the default settings should work fine. However, if you have specific requirements, you can make changes accordingly.
- Start the Process: Once you have selected the USB drive and configured the settings, click on the "Start" button to begin the process. Rufus will display a warning message stating that all data on the USB drive will be destroyed. Make sure you have backed up any necessary files, then click "OK" to proceed.
- Wait for Completion: Rufus will now start formatting the USB drive and copying the contents of the ISO image onto it. This process may take some time, depending on the size of the ISO file and the speed of your USB drive.
- Bootable USB Ready: Once Rufus completes the process, you will see a "READY" message. Your bootable USB drive is now ready to be used.

There is also an alternative for Rufus called Etcher/balenaEtcher. You can download that using this link and the steps are pretty much the same
